Pharmacist in Milan, NH

Deliver comprehensive inpatient pharmacy care supporting ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department units in a hospital setting. This opportunity requires dedication to patient safety, medication accuracy, and collaborative healthcare delivery, with a schedule that balances weekdays and rotating weekend shifts.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00/7:30 a.m. – 4:30/5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)
• Rotating weekends every 3rd weekend, Saturday/Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Location:

• Berlin, NH (Please note this is a rural location; housing may be limited. Candidates should be prepared to address housing needs prior to placement.)

Responsibilities:

• Manage medication distribution and patient chart review for hospitalized patients
• Support multidisciplinary teams across ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department units
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards for pharmacy operations
• Work independently during weekend shifts, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Utilize Meditech pharmacy systems; familiarity with Omnicell is an advantage

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with 2-5 years professional pharmacy experience
• Previous hospital inpatient pharmacy experience is REQUIRED
• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting is highly desirable
• Ability and willingness to work independently, especially on weekends
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local residents will not be considered
