Pharmacist in Milan, NH

A hospital in Berlin, NH, is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to provide crucial pharmaceutical care in a dynamic clinical setting. This role requires 2-5 years of hospital pharmacy experience, ideally within a Critical Access Hospital, to support multiple departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Med/Surg, and the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify medication orders for inpatients with precision and adherence to hospital policies.
• Collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure safe, effective pharmaceutical care.
• Support clinical pharmacy services across ICU, L&D, Med/Surg, and ED units.
• Work independently during weekend shifts, demonstrating strong decision-making skills.
• Utilize Meditech pharmacy systems; experience with Omnicell technology is a plus.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with 2-5 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Previous exposure to Critical Access Hospital environments highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently, especially on rotating weekend shifts.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Omnicell automated dispensing systems is advantageous.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m.
• Rotating weekends (every third weekend) Saturday/Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week

Location Considerations: This role is based in a rural setting. Housing options may be limited, so candidates should prepare accordingly. Note: applicants must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility’s location.
