Pharmacist in Milan, NH

A rewarding opportunity for a skilled inpatient pharmacist is available in a hospital setting located in Berlin, NH. This contract assignment requires a dedicated professional ready to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care across multiple departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency. The role involves independent work and flexibility, especially during weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pharmaceutical services for inpatient care, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
• Support clinical operations across ICU, L&D, M/S, and ED units.
• Manage medication distribution and reconciliation with the support of Meditech and Omnicell systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Independently oversee weekend pharmacy operations, maintaining standards of care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Proven ability to work independently, particularly during weekend shifts.
• Experience with Meditech electronic health records preferred.
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication dispensing systems is advantageous.
• Candidate must hold or be eligible for a pharmacy license in New Hampshire; temporary licensure options are available for travel pharmacists.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Monday through Friday, 7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM.
• Rotating weekends every third weekend.
• Weekend shifts Saturday/Sunday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
