Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions by conducting thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and maintaining compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. The pharmacist will actively contribute to business growth by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). A focus on department performance is critical, involving the alignment of objectives with key metrics, and collaboration with pharmacy management to control inventory and optimize profitability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance to ensure prescription accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Support business growth through clinical initiatives, including immunization programs and MTM when available
  • Manage inventory in partnership with pharmacy management to meet customer needs and maximize profits
  • Align departmental activities with measurable performance metrics to improve effectiveness and efficiency

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
