Per Diem Pharmacist in Milwaukee, WI

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide excellent pharmacy services on a per diem basis from July 6 to July 23. This role focuses on supporting long-term care (LTC) and mail order pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have a Wisconsin pharmacy license and preferably possess LTC pharmacy experience. The position uses the Frameworks computer system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions in compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care for LTC patients
• Manage medication inventory and support mail order pharmacy operations
• Maintain detailed and precise documentation using the Frameworks system
• Provide expert counseling on medication usage and side effects

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license is required
• Experience in LTC pharmacy is highly preferred
• Familiarity with mail order pharmacy processes and systems is a plus
• Proficient with using pharmacy computer systems; Frameworks experience is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
