Pharmacist - Minden, NV

An opportunity is available for a skilled night shift pharmacist to support a 175-bed hospital in Minden, NV. This contract position offers the chance to contribute to patient care and collaborate within a dynamic hospital pharmacy team utilizing advanced systems like EPIC and Pyxis.

Location: Minden, NV
Schedule: Night shifts, 7 days on/7 days off, 10-hour shifts
Duration: 13 weeks +
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during shifts
• Consult effectively with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
• Monitor pharmacokinetics to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Nevada pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred
• Ability to work night shifts consistently and independently
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
