A Long Term Care Pharmacist position is available in Minneapolis, MN, offering an opportunity to apply your expertise in a focused pharmacy setting. This contract role begins on February 2, 2026, and will last approximately eight weeks, providing valuable experience in long-term care pharmacy operations.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Shifts available: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Pharmacy hours: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory policies and safety standards related to medication dispensing
  • Provide support and guidance in the management of long-term care medication needs
  • Maintain clear and precise documentation for patient records and pharmacy processes

Qualifications:

  • Current pharmacist license in the state of Minnesota is required
  • A minimum of one year of recent pharmacy experience, preferably in a long-term care or similar setting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy staff
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members
