A long-term care pharmacy in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a contract position starting February 2, 2026. This role involves collaborating with pharmacy technicians to verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and quality in medication dispensing within the long-term care setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Option 1: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Option 2: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Pharmacy hours: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience
- Strong attention to detail when verifying prescriptions
- Ability to work effectively with pharmacy technicians
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently to support patient care
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians in daily pharmacy operations
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
