A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist in Minneapolis, MN, for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. The role requires flexibility with shift times, including 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, or 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with rotating weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with legal standards.
• Monitor patient medication use, ensuring adherence and identifying over-usage.
• Maintain confidential patient records and manage pharmacy files efficiently.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, possible side effects, storage, and interactions.
• Provide clinical services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management.
• Educate patients on proper use of medical devices including blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following proper protocols.
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks.
• Manage inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify and resolve drug-related issues.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minnesota pharmacist license in-hand.
• Open to retail pharmacists; training will be provided.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
