Pharmacist | Minneapolis, Minnesota

A licensed Pharmacist is needed to support a busy mail order/specialty pharmacy handling around 2,500 prescriptions daily. This role is ideal for someone with mail order or specialty pharmacy experience who can help cover workload during a transitional period involving state exam preparations for current pharmacists.

Location: Mendota Heights, MN
Type: Contract (approximately 16 weeks with potential to extend)
Schedule:

• 1 day per week

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Ensure compliance with changing state pharmacy requirements
• Collaborate with a large pharmacist team to maintain high-quality patient care
• Monitor and manage specialty medications and mail order processes
• Maintain professional licensure and stay informed on pharmacy best practices

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license required; Minnesota license preferred but not mandatory
• Licenses must be in good standing
• Experience in mail order or specialty pharmacy settings highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high prescription volumes
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
