Pharmacist in Minneapolis, MN

A high-volume mail order and specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide essential coverage support due to recent state regulation changes and upcoming pharmacist exams. This role processes approximately 2,500 prescriptions daily, requiring strong attention to detail and effective collaboration with a large pharmacist team.

Location: Mendota Heights, MN
Schedule:

• One day per week
• Approximately 16 weeks with potential for ongoing assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and dispense prescriptions within a fast-paced mail order/specialty pharmacy environment
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure compliance with state regulations and quality standards
• Provide support during regulatory changes and team transitions
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality in all pharmacy activities

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license required
• Minnesota Pharmacist license preferred but not mandatory
• Licenses must be in good standing with respective boards
• Experience in mail order or specialty pharmacy highly preferred
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy under high-volume conditions
