We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This opportunity offers flexible employment options, including contract and contract-to-hire, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities
-Review prescriptions from physicians and authorized prescribers to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
-Evaluate medication orders to determine proper formulas, ingredients, dosages, and dispensing requirements.
-Compound sterile and non-sterile medications using established formulas and procedures, including weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
-Supervise and direct pharmacy personnel involved in medication preparation, packaging, labeling, and distribution.
-Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
-Provide medication-related guidance and counseling to nursing facility staff regarding prescription and over-the-counter medications.
-Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to quality assurance and safety standards.

Qualifications
-Active Pharmacist license in good standing.
-Previous pharmacy experience required; Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred.
-Knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding practices.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
-Excellent communication and leadership skills.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
