Position Overview

A specialty pharmacy in Grand Rapids, Minnesota is seeking an experienced Weekend Pharmacist to provide ongoing weekend coverage. This role will involve a combination of retail and long-term care pharmacy responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, providing high-quality patient care, and supporting both retail and long-term care pharmacy needs.

Key Responsibilities
Perform pharmacist duties in both retail and long-term care settings.
Review and verify medication orders and prescriptions.
Provide medication counseling and clinical support to patients and caregivers.
Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and accurate medication management.
Support medication dispensing and distribution activities.
Provide weekend coverage for pharmacy operations.
Administer immunizations as appropriate and within scope of practice.

Qualifications
Active Minnesota Pharmacist License.
Immunization certified.
Current CPR certification.
PharmD or MTM certification preferred.
Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy preferred.
Strong communication and clinical skills.
Ability to work independently in a weekend coverage role.
