Pharmacist | Mishawaka, Indiana

A 13-week contract opportunity for a travel pharmacist is available at a 250-bed community hospital in Northern Indiana. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic inpatient setting, supporting pharmacy operations for a well-established facility.

Schedule and Location:

• Located in Mishawaka, IN
• Work schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, second shift (1:00 pm to 10:30 pm)
• Possibility of a 7-on/7-off schedule based on facility needs

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and quality control
• Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize medication therapy
• Participate in pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments
• Support inpatient pharmacy activities ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Indiana is required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with interdisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
