Per Diem Pharmacist - Mississippi State, MS

A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available in Mississippi, providing flexible hours with a focus on retail pharmacy duties in a veterinary pharmacy setting. This position offers a chance to apply your pharmacy expertise in a specialized environment with low volume and specific scheduled days.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including dispensing medications, counseling clients, and managing prescriptions
• Work collaboratively with veterinary staff to ensure appropriate medication use and compliance
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing client questions and concerns regarding veterinary prescriptions

Qualifications:

• Active Mississippi Pharmacist License
• One year or more of recent pharmacy experience, preferably in retail or veterinary settings
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication dispensing, and client counseling
• Ability to adapt to a veterinary pharmacy environment and low-volume workflow

Schedule:

• PRN (as needed) basis
• July 14, 15, and 16
• Hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
