Inpatient Pharmacist in Monmouth, OR

An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in a hospital setting. This 13-week contract-to-hire position offers the chance to contribute clinical expertise and ensure safe, efficient medication management for hospitalized patients.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispensing and verifying medications for inpatient use
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes
• Monitoring drug therapies for efficacy and safety, including identifying and resolving medication-related issues
• Maintaining compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations
• Providing medication education and counseling to healthcare staff as needed
• Participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current state licensure
• Experience working in a hospital inpatient pharmacy environment
• Strong knowledge of drug therapies, hospital formularies, and clinical protocols
