This contract position provides an immediate start with a duration of 13 weeks and the potential to transition to a permanent role. Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing to optimize patient therapy
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for order management and inventory control

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in North Carolina
• Around two years of experience in a hospital pharmacy environment
• Comfortable working overnight hours
• Proficient with EPIC and Pyxis systems is preferred

Schedule:

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Option to work either three 12-hour shifts per week or a 7-on/7-off rotation
