A veterinary compounding pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join their team in Moulton, AL. This temp-to-hire role focuses on equine and veterinary compounding, supporting exceptional care for animal patients. The position requires strong leadership skills to oversee pharmacy technicians, manage workflow, and ensure compliance with pharmacy policies.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of 3–4 pharmacy technicians
• Verify prescriptions and oversee daily pharmacy workflow
• Review and manage approximately 25–30 regularly reordered formularies
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient operations
• Provide leadership with a focus on animal patient care
• Assist with inventory and operational oversight as needed

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pharmacist license (state requirements apply)
• Experience in equine pharmacy or veterinary/animal compounding (human compounding experience alone is not sufficient)
