This growing, close-knit team processes over 200 prescriptions daily, with each pharmacist overseeing 3–4 technicians to ensure smooth and accurate operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of 3–4 pharmacy technicians.
• Perform prescription verification and manage daily workflow.
• Review and maintain established formulations for accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with compounding procedures, quality standards, and pharmacy regulations.
• Support inventory management and contribute to workflow efficiency.
• Take ownership of pharmacy operations and foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Alabama Pharmacist license (mandatory).
• Strong expertise in non-sterile compounding.
• Proven ability to supervise technicians and manage busy workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and adaptability.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and team-oriented approach.

Preferred Experience:

• Veterinary, animal, or equine compounding background.
• Experience in a high-volume compounding pharmacy.
• Familiarity with Pharmetica system (training available if needed).

Work Schedule:

• Standard pharmacy hours with some flexibility to support the team and daily operations.
