Pharmacist in Mount Enterprise, TX

This opportunity is for a hospital pharmacist position within a 150-bed community hospital located in Nacogdoches, TX. The hospital utilizes Cerner and Omnicell systems, supporting efficient workflow and patient care. The role will be on a 13-week contract basis with a schedule of 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide medication-related consultations to physicians and nursing staff.
• Support inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on patient safety.
• Perform IV admixture preparations in compliance with regulatory standards.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year current inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Strong competency in IV admixture preparation.
