Pharmacist - Mount Lemmon, AZ

A tribal clinic/hospital in Arizona is seeking a Pharmacist to fill a night shift Emergency Department role. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a decentralized, fast-paced ED pharmacy setting within a remote healthcare environment. Due to the tribal status of the facility, an Arizona Pharmacist license is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in the Emergency Department during night shifts
• Engage in decentralized pharmacy practice, collaborating closely with the ED medical team
• Manage medication verification, preparation, and patient counseling as needed
• Obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as part of the role requirements
• Utilize proprietary RPMS software for medication management and documentation
• Participate in a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule with 10-hour night shifts

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Pharmacist license (state license outside Arizona accepted)
• Clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in hospital or emergency department settings
• Completion of pharmacy residency favored
• Willingness to work in a remote tribal clinic environment
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Schedule:

• Night shift, 7 days on followed by 7 days off
