Staff Pharmacist Mount Sterling, KY

We are seeking a full-time Staff Pharmacist for a busy retail pharmacy in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. 

The ideal candidate will have recent retail pharmacy experience, strong patient counseling skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Details:

Full-Time Position
Retail Pharmacy Setting
Location: Mount Sterling, KY
Immediate Opening

Schedule:

Staff Pharmacist schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; 4x10
Saturday coverage required 1–2 times per month

Responsibilities

Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
Counsel patients regarding medication therapy, side effects, and treatment plans
Answer medication-related questions from patients and healthcare providers
Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians

Required Qualifications

Active Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing
Ability to work in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment
Strong communication and patient counseling skills

Preferred Qualifications

Recent retail pharmacy experience
Experience with PioneerRx
Previous experience managing workflow in a busy community pharmacy setting
