Pharmacist in Murfreesboro, TN

A pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract with potential contract-to-hire status in Murfreesboro, TN. This position supports a mail order renal specialty pharmacy handling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The pharmacy uses the Wellsky order entry system and does not utilize automation.

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No on-call duties required

Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Conduct final verification processes ensuring the correct medication is dispensed
• Verify directions and prescription information against hard copy documentation

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in pharmacy verification processes
• Comfortable working with Wellsky order entry system or similar platforms
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy skills in medication verification
• Ability to work the afternoon shift and commit to the full contract term
• Willingness to accept an auto-offer as part of the hiring process
