A mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract with the possibility of contract-to-hire. This role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM, supporting pharmacy operations with approximately 1,000 prescriptions filled daily.

Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions.
• Conduct final verification of prescriptions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Verify correct medication is dispensed in the bottle or box.
• Confirm directions and prescription details match the hard copy.
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system in daily workflow.
• Support a high-volume, mail order renal specialty pharmacy environment.
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team; no on-call duties required.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Experience with medication verification processes and quality assurance.
• Proficient with pharmacy order entry systems, experience with Wellsky is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced mail order setting.
• Strong communication skills for accurate prescription verification and compliance.
