This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support a busy mail order renal specialty pharmacy focused on high-quality patient care and precise medication management. The role involves serving as a critical final checkpoint in the prescription fulfillment process for approximately 1000 prescriptions daily.

Schedule & Location:

• Monday to Friday
• 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift
• 40 hours per week
• Based in Murfreesboro, TN
• Immediate start

Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties, including:
  • Final verification of prescriptions to ensure accuracy
  • Confirm correct medication is dispensed in packaging
  • Check directions and prescription details against hard copies
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system in a manual, non-automated setting
• Collaborate efficiently without any on-call requirements

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license
• Experience with mail order or specialty pharmacy preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong verification and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently in a high-volume environment
• Familiarity with Wellsky system is a plus but not mandatory

Contract Details:

• 13+ weeks contract with potential to convert to permanent status
