A pharmacy professional is needed for a contract position in Murfreesboro, TN, specializing in a mail order renal specialty pharmacy setting. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with approximately 1,000 prescriptions filled daily, focusing on precision and patient safety.

Schedule and Contract Details:

• Monday to Friday
• 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract with potential contract-to-hire transition
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties
• Conduct final verification of medication accuracy, including the correct medication in packaging
• Ensure directions and prescription details match hard copy documentation
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system to process orders
• Support renal specialty pharmacy operations with diligence and attention to detail
• No on-call duties required

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current pharmacy licensure
• Experience in a mail order or specialty pharmacy environment preferred
• Proficiency with pharmacy order entry systems, preferably Wellsky
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to manage high-volume prescription verification efficiently
