A pharmacy pharmacist opportunity is available to support a specialized mail order, renal pharmacy serving a high-volume prescription flow of approximately 1,000 fills per day. This contract role offers a chance to work within a focused, dedicated team utilizing the Wellsky order entry system without automation.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift
• 40 hours per week

Contract Duration: 13 weeks with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) tasks, including final verification processes.
• Accurately confirm the medication in the bottle or box matches the prescription.
• Verify directions and prescription details against hard copy documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy staff to maintain quality and compliance standards.
• No on-call responsibilities required.

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in pharmacy verification processes.
