A pharmacy opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist with 2-3 years of high-volume prescription experience. This role supports a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment for candidates who thrive under volume and accuracy demands.

Key Details:

  • Location: Murfreesboro, TN
  • Type: Contract (13 weeks+, contract-to-hire possible)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Shift requirements: No on-call duties required
  • Pharmacy system: Wellsky (no automation)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2)
  • Conduct final verification processes ensuring accuracy of medication and labeling
  • Verify prescription information and patient directions against physical documentation
  • Maintain thorough attention to detail to uphold medication safety and regulatory standards

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years in a high-volume pharmacy setting
  • Strong familiarity with prescription verification processes
  • Positive, can-do attitude and professional communication skills
  • Adaptability to a temporary, fast-paced environment
