An opportunity exists for a Pharmacist with 2-3 years of high-volume experience to support a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy. This pharmacy processes approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily, providing a dynamic and fast-paced environment ideal for candidates who thrive on accuracy and efficiency. The position is contract-based, with a minimum duration of 13 weeks and an ASAP start.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing final verification processes (Pharmacist Verification 1 and 2)
• Ensuring the correct medication is in the bottle or box
• Verifying directions and prescription information against hard copies
• Supporting medication safety and regulatory compliance

This role operates within the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system and does not involve automation. There is no on-call requirement.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive, adaptable attitude and ability to work independently
• Open to a temporary-only role; temp-to-perm transitions may occur but are not guaranteed based on business needs
