Pharmacist - Nacogdoches, Texas

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist at a 150-bed community hospital in Nacogdoches, TX. This role supports hospital pharmacy operations within a reputable healthcare network and requires a focus on inpatient pharmaceutical care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour shifts
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and monitor workflow
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Manage IV admixtures using established protocols
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 1 year current inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong proficiency in IV admixture preparation and safety standards
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy software and Omnicell automation systems is preferred
• Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
