Pharmacist - Nampa, Idaho

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital. This position is based in Nampa, ID, with an immediate start to provide critical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervising and directing pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Consulting with nurses and physicians to optimize patient care
• Applying pharmacokinetics principles for individualized medication therapy
• Utilizing Cerner electronic health record system for documentation and communication

An ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain one quickly
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience, preferably within a rehab or similar clinical setting
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to interdisciplinary care
• Knowledge of pharmacokinetics and medication management in complex patients
