An exciting contract pharmacist role is available in an outpatient/retail pharmacy attached to a hospital setting on Nantucket Island, MA. This position offers a unique chance to practice pharmacy in a beautiful, seasonal location, ideal for candidates who appreciate a scenic work environment.

Key Details:

• Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
• Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks
• Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts per week
• Start: ASAP
• Setting: Outpatient/Retail pharmacy connected to hospital

Responsibilities:

• Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently in an outpatient/retail environment
• Utilizing McKesson EnterpriseRX pharmacy system to manage prescriptions and workflow
• Providing excellent patient counseling and customer service
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Covering the duties of a pharmacist vacancy during the assignment

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacist license required
• Previous retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Experience with McKesson EnterpriseRX highly desired
• Full-time availability for the entire duration of the assignment
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Additional Information:

• Access to hospital-provided apartment accommodations is available; due to limited housing on the island, shared housing with other healthcare travelers may be necessary
• Transportation to and from Nantucket is by ferry
