A specialized opportunity is available for a Night Pharmacist with solid pediatric experience to support a Children's hospital environment. This 13-week+ contract position requires commitment to a 7-on/7-off night schedule, working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role focuses on delivering expert pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients, ensuring accurate dosing and medication safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Location:

• Based in a hospital located in Chicago, IL

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients, emphasizing weight-based dosing accuracy
• Utilize hospital IT systems, including EPIC and Omnicell, to manage medication orders and inventory
• Collaborate closely with clinical teams to optimize patient care plans
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license is required
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience, ideally within pediatric care
• Comfort and proficiency with pediatric medication dosing, including weight-based calculations
• Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell systems preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Schedule:

• Night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Seven consecutive days on, followed by seven days off
