An overnight pharmacy technician opportunity is available to provide essential support in a hospital setting specializing in critical care, pediatrics, and NICU patients. This role offers a consistent schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, working from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, covering approximately 70-73 hours per week. The position is travel-based and ideal for candidates looking to relocate or work flexibly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy technician support during overnight shifts
• Handle phone inquiries promptly and professionally
• Prepare and fill first doses and maintain the 24-hour medication cart with minimal refills
• Assist in the IV room with sterile preparation and compounding tasks
• Collaborate effectively with the overnight pharmacist to ensure safe and accurate medication distribution

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Registered Pharmacy Technician license for the state
• Experience working in IV room procedures and sterile compounding
• Background in pediatrics and inpatient hospital settings
• Proficiency with EPIC order entry system is required
• Familiarity with Omnicell automation preferred; training is available if needed
• Ability to work independently and handle overnight responsibilities efficiently
