This opportunity seeks a pharmacist to support a specialized mail-order HIV/AIDS pharmacy, offering a rewarding role in patient-focused medication services. Location: Naples, FL
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Contract Duration: 13 weeks or potential for contract-to-hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions with meticulous attention to detail, prioritizing patient safety
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to clarify prescription details or resolve issues
- Engage with patients to provide support, answer questions, and reinforce adherence
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medications
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Florida pharmacist license
- Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience, with a strong preference for candidates with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience clearly noted on the resume
- Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is highly desirable; please indicate experience when applying
- Strong communication skills, both with patients and healthcare providers
