This opportunity seeks a pharmacist to support a specialized mail-order HIV/AIDS pharmacy, offering a rewarding role in patient-focused medication services. Candidates will join a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care and ensuring accurate dispensation of complex medications in a closed-door pharmacy setting.

Location: Naples, FL

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Contract Duration: 13 weeks or potential for contract-to-hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions with meticulous attention to detail, prioritizing patient safety
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to clarify prescription details or resolve issues
• Engage with patients to provide support, answer questions, and reinforce adherence
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medications

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Florida pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience, with a strong preference for candidates with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience clearly noted on the resume
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is highly desirable; please indicate experience when applying
• Strong communication skills, both with patients and healthcare providers
• Commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality
