A pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support a renal specialty mail order pharmacy located in Lavergne, TN. This role offers a 13-week contract with potential for contract-to-hire, providing a structured environment in a high-volume specialty pharmacy setting.

• Lavergne, TN

Schedule/Hours:

• Afternoon shift: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No on-call duties required

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) activities
• Perform final verification of medications ensuring the correct drug and dosage are dispensed
• Verify prescription details and directions against hard copy prescriptions
• Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry system for processing prescriptions
• Assist in the handling of approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily in a mail order and renal specialty pharmacy context

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active credentials
• Experience in pharmacy verification processes in a high-volume environment
• Proficiency or willingness to quickly learn the Wellsky system
• Ability to accurately verify and dispense medications with attention to detail
• Comfortable with an auto-offer placement process
