A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist at a specialized renal and mail order pharmacy located near Nashville, TN. This role offers a structured schedule with consistent hours, ideal for professionals seeking steady work with no on-call responsibilities.

Location: Near Nashville, TN
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential for contract-to-hire
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Conduct final verification processes to ensure medication accuracy
• Verify correct medication in bottles or boxes
• Confirm directions and prescription details against hard copies

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
• Experience in pharmacy verification processes
• Familiarity with pharmacy order entry systems preferred, knowledge of Wellsky system a plus
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment (approx. 1000 prescriptions filled daily)
