Pharmacist - Nashville, Tennessee

An opportunity is available for a Night Shift Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care at a 150-bed community hospital near Nashville, TN. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to fostering patient safety and optimizing medication therapy during overnight hours.

Schedule:

• 7 consecutive night shifts followed by 7 nights off
• 10-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and workflow
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments for complex cases
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide expert consultation on medication management
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee pharmacist license
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently overnight
• Willingness to travel and relocate to the Gallatin area, approximately 30 miles northeast of Nashville
