This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist experienced in mail order and specialty pharmacy settings who is seeking a dedicated role on a consistent schedule. The position involves working within a renal specialty pharmacy environment, managing a high volume of prescriptions to ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensation.

Schedule & Location:

• Monday through Friday
• 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM shift
• Located in Nashville, TN
• 40 hours per week
• ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties
• Final verification processes including confirmation of the correct medication and directions
• Ensure prescription information matches the hard copy accurately
• Support a high volume pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily
• Utilize the Wellsky order entry system to ensure efficient workflow
• No on-call duties required

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials to practice
• Experience with mail order or specialty pharmacy preferred
• Familiarity with prescription verification and pharmacy workflow
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail
• Comfort using the Wellsky pharmacy system or similar technology
