This pharmacy-focused role offers the opportunity to contribute within a high-volume, specialized environment serving renal patients via mail order. Located in Nashville, TN, this contract position is ideal for pharmacists with a minimum of 2-3 years of high-volume experience seeking a temp-only role, with a strong emphasis on finding candidates who are the right fit.

Schedule Options:

• 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday (2 positions)
• 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday (1 position)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties, including final prescription verification
• Confirm that medications in bottles or boxes match prescription orders accurately
• Verify prescription information and directions against hard copy documentation
• Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment handling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system; no automation involved
• Collaborate effectively within the pharmacy team, contributing to a positive work atmosphere

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
