Specialty Pharmacist

We’re seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join a closed-door, specialty pharmacy in the Nashville, TN area, on a Full-Time basis. 

• Schedule: Monday – Friday (no on-call or weekend rotation). 
• 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Start: ASAP
• Type: 13+ Week Contract-to-Hire | Full-Time 
• Setting: Closed-Door, Specialty Pharmacy 

Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Complete final verification processes for prescriptions
• Verify correct medications in bottles/boxes prior to dispensing
• Review prescription directions and patient information against hard copies
• Support accurate and efficient prescription fulfillment in a high-volume setting

Requirements: 

• TN Pharmacist license in good standing
•  2 years of recent retail, LTC, or specialty pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and verification accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy environment
