Pharmacist - Necedah, Wisconsin

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a small 40-bed hospital in Northern Central Wisconsin. This role offers a dynamic environment serving a diverse inpatient census of 30-40 patients across multiple specialties including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, ED, and surgery departments.

Schedule options include either four 10-hour day shifts per week (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with rotating weekends, or a blocked schedule of seven days on followed by seven days off, providing flexibility to accommodate work-life balance.

Key responsibilities include managing multiple concurrent tasks in a central inpatient pharmacy setting. This involves verifying EPIC electronic medication orders, checking the accuracy of technician work, and responding to pharmacist inquiries. The role also requires preparation and administration support for inpatient and outpatient intravenous medications, inpatient unit dose drugs, and outpatient chemotherapy treatments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current licensure to practice.
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy operations and medication order verification.
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Prior experience in oncology and diverse hospital units preferred.

This contract position offers a start as soon as possible, with an initial duration of 13 weeks or longer. The travel nature of the role allows for relocation flexibility within Northern Central Wisconsin.
