A healthcare facility in Nekoosa, WI is seeking a skilled inpatient pharmacist for a contract position lasting approximately 13 weeks. This role requires working predominantly day shifts, with the flexibility to support evening hours as needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing inpatient pharmacy operations and medication dispensing
  • Collaborating with medical staff in the emergency room to ensure timely pharmaceutical care
  • Overseeing immunization protocols and administering vaccines as required
  • Serving as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) during shifts to maintain compliance and safety standards
  • Supporting clinical decision-making and patient care within the hospital inpatient setting

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Rotating weekend coverage
  • Potential evening shift support as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Pharmacist licensure with experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy
  • Proficiency in emergency room pharmacy procedures and protocols
  • Ability to administer immunizations and manage vaccination initiatives
  • Prior experience as a Pharmacist in Charge is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
