Pharmacist - Nelsonville, OH

A temporary Pharmacist opportunity is available at a community hospital serving a tight-knit patient population with 25 licensed beds and an average daily census of 25-30. This role, based in the Nelsonville, OH area, offers a chance to support diverse clinical areas including Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accurate medication dispensing and order entry using EPIC (experience highly preferred)
• Provide pharmaceutical care and ensure safety across specialty areas: ED, Infusion, and Ortho
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
• Participate in on-call rotation after some shifts to support pharmacy operations
• Work occasional Saturdays to maintain coverage

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacist license required
• Proven experience in hospital pharmacy settings, preferably with EPIC order entry system
• Strong clinical knowledge with ability to handle multiple specialty areas
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
• On-call duties required after some shifts
• Occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
