Pharmacist - Nelsonville, Ohio

A hospital pharmacist opportunity is available in Logan, OH, offering a 13-week contract with the possibility to extend. This role supports a licensed 25-bed facility specializing in emergency department, infusion, and orthopedic care. The position requires a flexible schedule with regular hours and some on-call duties.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and timely in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Utilize EPIC order entry system for prescription processing (experience preferred)
• Support specialty areas including Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional Saturday shifts as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacist license (required)
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with EPIC order entry system highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• On-call availability required after some shifts
• Occasional Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
