Retail Pharmacist - New Berlin, NY

A well-established retail pharmacy seeking a licensed Pharmacist to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while managing daily pharmacy operations. This position oversees pharmacy financial goals, including budget management, payroll, scheduling, and inventory control, to support optimal business performance. The role also includes supervising pharmacy support staff, providing guidance and training, and ensuring completion of all required company training.

Key responsibilities include counseling patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, side effects, and interactions, as well as participating in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. The pharmacist maintains a clean and organized workspace, upholds quality improvement initiatives to ensure patient safety, and fulfills all continuing education requirements.

Location: Oneonta, NY

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Sundays: Closed

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License
• Immunization Certification and comfort administering all vaccines (required)
• Recent Pharmacy Manager experience (preferred)
• Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and company policies
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
