Pharmacist in New Braunfels, TX

This opportunity is for a licensed Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a dynamic hospital setting. The role involves working within a team to ensure safe and effective medication use, focusing on patient-centered outcomes. Location:

• New Braunfels, TX

Schedule:

• Rotating shifts including 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify medications accurately using EPIC and Pyxis systems
• Prepare and mix sterile compounds as needed in compliance with safety standards
• Monitor and adjust pharmacokinetic parameters to optimize patient therapy
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure best medication practices
• Maintain documentation and compliance with hospital policies and protocols

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Texas Pharmacist license
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficient with EPIC and Pyxis medication systems
• IV certification with ability to compound sterile preparations
• Competent in pharmacokinetics monitoring and adjustments
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or able to provide one upon application

Contract Details:

• Immediate start preferred
• Duration: 13 weeks or longer, depending on need
