Per Diem Pharmacist - New Buffalo, Michigan

Support specialized home infusion pharmacy operations in a closed-door environment, providing essential prescription verification, preparation, and patient communication. This per diem assignment offers an opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise with a dedicated team and manageable volume within set hours.

Location: New Buffalo, MI
Schedule:

• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday through Friday
• Coverage dates: March 30 – April 6

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and prepare prescriptions for shipment
• Communicate with patients regarding upcoming orders to ensure timely delivery
• Assist in managing and supporting pharmacy technicians during the shift

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and active Michigan Pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience, with home infusion experience preferred
• Proficiency with PioneerRx software is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a closed-door setting, handling an average volume of 30 packages weekly, with 5-15 prescriptions per package

Staff Support:

• Work alongside 1 full-time and 1 part-time pharmacy technician to support medication dispensing and workflow
