Travel Inpatient Pharmacist | New Concord, Ohio

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available for an experienced professional with a strong retail background to support inpatient hospital pharmacy operations. This role requires flexibility to travel and reside temporarily in New Concord, OH, serving a vital role in patient medication management within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense inpatient medications in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Conduct medication reconciliation and patient counseling when needed
• Utilize pharmacy systems, preferably RX30, for order processing and inventory management
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year current retail-based pharmacy experience with consistent 40-hour workweeks
• Experience working varied shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations in a retail setting
• Vaccination certification required upon application
• Familiarity with RX30 pharmacy system is advantageous but not mandatory
