A Long-Term Care and Intellectual Developmental Disorder pharmacy in need of a skilled Pharmacist to join their team in Rocky Hill, CT, on a contract basis. This role is critical to maintaining quality and efficiency in medication verification and processing within an established pharmacy system.

Location:

  • Rocky Hill, CT (near Hartford area)

Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM shift (must be available to start as early as 8:00 AM or work until 6:00 PM)

Contract Duration:

  • Immediate start, 4-week assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform PV2 duties, including checking and verifying medications.
  • Train for PV1 responsibilities if aptitude and performance allow.
  • Operate within the Frameworks pharmacy system.
  • Manage medication volumes efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut pharmacist license required.
  • Prior experience in Long-Term Care preferred but not mandatory.
  • Retail pharmacists with strong volume handling skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
