Pharmacist - New Haven, Connecticut

An immediate opening is available for a Pharmacist at a long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder (LTC/IDD) pharmacy operating in the Hartford area. This contract position involves working at their Rocky Hill site and requires an experienced candidate ready to start as soon as possible for a four-week duration.

Location: Rocky Hill, CT (Hartford area)
Schedule:

• Shift from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexibility to start at 8 AM or work until 6 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform primary PV2 duties including medication checking and verification
• Train toward PV1 responsibilities based on aptitude
• Utilize the Frameworks pharmacy system
• Manage a high volume of prescriptions efficiently

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut pharmacist license (required)
• Prior long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
• Retail pharmacy experience considered, provided the candidate can handle prescription volume
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn new procedures
