Pharmacist | New Haven, Connecticut

An inpatient pharmacist position is available at a large Level I Trauma Center with 1500 beds, specializing in pediatric and women’s health pharmacy services. This role focuses on supporting the Children’s Hospital Pharmacy within a prominent hospital setting. The schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts during days or evenings, depending on departmental requirements.

Responsibilities include clinical staffing in pediatric and women’s health areas or operational duties such as Pharmacist in Charge roles, sterile processing, and management of dispensing pharmacy activities. Flexibility in assignment will align with experience and competency levels.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• PGY1 residency training preferred; candidates with 2-3 years of relevant experience without residency will also be considered
• Must hold a current Connecticut Pharmacist license
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
