Inpatient Pharmacist Children's Hospital

Join a leading hospital as an Inpatient Pharmacist caring for pediatric patients. We're looking for an experienced hospital pharmacist who enjoys working as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Candidates with inpatient experience and some pediatric or women's health experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders
• Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
• Prepare and dispense medications
• Support sterile compounding when needed
• Supervise pharmacy technicians
• Help ensure safe and accurate medication use

Experience

• At least 3 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• PGY1 residency preferred
• Candidates without a residency should have 2–3 years of strong inpatient experience
• Pediatric or women's health experience is a plus
• Experience with EPIC and Pyxis is preferred

Education

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree
• Active Connecticut Pharmacist license required

Pay: $70.00 – 80.00 per hour (based on experience)
