Per Diem Pharmacist in New Iberia, LA

A healthcare facility in New Iberia, Louisiana is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide coverage on February 12th. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with experience in HIV medication management and 340B program knowledge. Retail pharmacists will also be considered for this important assignment.

Location:

• New Iberia, LA
• Coverage date: February 12th
• Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager.
• Ensure safe delivery of medications to all patients.
• Respond appropriately to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and controlled substance records and inventories.
• Utilize PioneerRx software for pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana is mandatory.
• Experience working with HIV medications and familiarity with the 340B pharmacy program is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle patient concerns professionally.

This assignment offers the opportunity to work in a specialized pharmacy setting with a focus on HIV care while providing flexible per diem coverage. The position is for one day only on February 12th with standard daytime hours.
